memeSRC Copyright Policy
How to ask us to remove material that infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your content was removed.
Effective October 6, 2026
Our approach
Vibe House LLC runs memeSRC and respects the rights of copyright owners. We provide the meme editor, photo editing tools, and features for uploading and sharing editable templates and other content. Users submit the templates, images, and searchable catalog material, including frames and subtitles from shows and movies. Providing these tools does not give us or our users ownership of that material or permission for every use.
This policy covers material hosted or shared through memeSRC, including editable templates, shared images, and catalog content. If you own a copyright and believe material on memeSRC infringes it, contact us using the process below.
Copyright contact
Send copyright notices, counter-notices, and other copyright concerns to contact@vibehouse.net, or mail them to:

Sending a takedown notice
Use the subject "Copyright notice" when emailing a takedown notice. Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or someone authorized to act for the owner.
- Identify the copyrighted work you believe was infringed. If your notice covers multiple works on memeSRC, you may provide a representative list.
- The material you want removed and where it is, such as links to the frames, images, editable templates, or the show or movie in the catalog.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
You can also use Report and choose the copyright option on a frame, shared template, or Magic result to flag something quickly. A flag helps us find the material, but a removal request needs the details above.
What happens next
We review notices and act promptly to remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice. This can include a whole show or movie in the catalog. If we need more information to locate the material or evaluate the notice, we may contact you. When we remove material shared by a user, we take reasonable steps to notify them. We may provide them with a copy of the notice, including your contact details.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the copyright contact above. Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and phone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where Vibe House LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We promptly forward a valid counter-notice, including your contact details, to the person who sent the original notice. For material removed under this process, we will restore access no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, unless our copyright contact first receives notice that the original claimant has filed a court action seeking to stop the allegedly infringing activity. Content may remain unavailable for a separate violation of our terms.
False claims
Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages. If you aren't sure whether something infringes your rights, consider talking to a lawyer first.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights in appropriate circumstances, as described in our Terms of Service.
